How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes, actually I set my goals when the program had just reached our village of which I fulfilled after I received my transefers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
To be honest GD is doing everything so well. There is totally nothing to complain. In fact, of all the organizations that I know GD is on number one. You have really helped us and we will always be grateful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The money that I received I spent it on laying bricks which I used to build a fence around my house. I also bought maize and clothes for my children. I also added beddings for the whole family and I kept an amount of MK100,000 which i still have for daily use.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very excited to receive this money. I will use this money to buy some furniture since I already have a house but what I was lacking is good furniture I will also use the money to buy a bicycle for easy movement as well as goats. These goats will help me a lot because I will be able to sell some of them when they multiply.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest when I have enough money to buy enough food for my family. I believe that happiness depends on having good and enough food because once I have had enough food I do not have anything to worry about.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face is not having enough money. I face this hardship because business has not been going on very well especially this year.
