What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on buying an ox plough for cultivation hence I no longer practice labor exchange which has been time consuming.This planting season I have prepared my farm on time. I added an ox onto my herd of my livestock.I also bought one sack of maize to feed on with my family and one sofa set seats too.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I now have my ox plough for cultivation hence I no longer practice labor exchange which has been time consuming.This planting season I have prepared my farm on time and I am just waiting to harvest. I also have sofa set seats hence I no longer have to borrow my neighbor's seats when I have visitors.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did a good job by giving unconditional cash transfer to poor households individually since it ha brought economical and social growth such as people have built decent houses and relationships have bonded morer.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of this money to renovate my house because it was leaking. I did not have any means of getting money to do so and when GD came to our village, I knew my dream of having a decent house had come true. I am now peaceful and those who did not welcome GD admire me a lot.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I now leave in a good house that no longer leaks, and I am so peaceful because I also bought food for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
From my second transfer, I bought cushions at 3,500 KES, spent 2,500 KES to buy armchairs, I bought blanket at 1,500 KES, bought fertilizer at 750 KES, and the remaining 1,500 KES I spent to buy 1 sack of maize at 1,500 KES.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
Am planning to spend my second transfer to build my house.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on building a new house since my current house is old and leaks alot and lastly I will use the remaining amount to buy furniture and other household items.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to get good harvest last year and was able to sell the extra and got some income.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on making ends meet, being a widow has made it very difficult since I'm on my own and the farm in some cases is not yielding good harvest to sustain my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I'm resting after spending time in my farm the all morning.
