How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My greatest goal is to building a modern house. I'll also want to invest some of my money in my farming project. My wish is to give my son some money to do his own business. Is a joy to be part of this program. However, i believe my dream will soon come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion Givedirectly is very good. Through the help of Givedirectly program am about to sleep in a zinc house. Many thanks to GiveDirectly for helping me to achieve my goal.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought one gallon of gasoline to saw my planks. I also used some of the money to pay my children school fees. I used the balance to pay people to do my work.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My major goal is to send my children to school and build my house. My house is a retired government teacher he no longer work to help the family i take care of my children children alone. My dream is to build a new house for grandchildren. I want to pay people to make a large cassava farm.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly is doing good for me. Through Givedirectly i was able to pay my children school fees. My life is changing gradually through the help of Givedirectly program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The money i received from Givedirectly was used to pay for two and a half bundles of zinc. I used $1700 to pay one of my daughter's school fees. I also pay $3200 Liberian dollar for my two grandchildren. The balance money will be used to pay for my stakes.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in a meeting in another town, when I received a message with a huge amount of money in it. I was very much happy and rejoicing in the whole village. I was also calculating on how to used this money. I was happy because I haven't seen people giving that huge amount of money for free in Liberia. before than My family and I had to struggle and work very hard, watch people clothes in my village just to get food to eat. To even paid my grand children school fees used to be very difficult for me. but now I'm thankful that I was enrolled on this program my grandchildren are all in school due to the help of givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is I'm able to provide food for my family. and I was also able to paid my children school fees and now I'm selling fish to help with the extra expensive. I am glade that I was enrolled on this program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my transfer on buying my zinc to build my own house, I paid my children school fees and bought enough food for them. The rest of the transfer I bought few things to sale. That will enable me provide food and shelter for my family. Before than its wasn't easy on me and my children. I had farm and watch for people the whole day just to get food. so I'm so happy that I was enrolled on this program.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My house roof is not in good condition, it's leaking. I want to buy a zinc for my house, pay my children school fees and start a business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What bought me joy and happiness in the past six is, i havested more crops from my farm this year. At least my family will have enough to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband is very sick and i don't have money to pay his hospital bill. The main problem i face with right now is, i don't have money.
