How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that GD cash transfer has empowered me and given me high self esteem because my family is now proud of me since I went back to school. This would have not been possible without GD's support.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD did well to support me financially in that I'm able to go back to school, and there is nothing bad GD has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spend my second transfer to pay debts worth 630,000ugx,bought a cow at 550,000ugx,school supplies at 53,000ugx and savings worth 400,000ugx

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that, I have a peace of mind because I have money at hand. I have owned a cow and am soon going back to school.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer I became very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer for buying a cow at 460,000UGX, a mattress at 50,000UGX. And I'm planning to spend the rest of my money for hiring an acre of land and for paying tuition for myself, for a certificate course in Agriculture that am soon perusing.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is inadequacy of farm land.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i am with my friends.

Receiving this money means i Will be able to continue with my education.
