How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My previous plan have been building a new house. I have been working on that since I got my transfer from GiveDirectly. I am a farmer and I have been struggling to sustain my family due to low income. Nonetheless, my life has improved immensely since I started receiving transfers from GiveDirectly. When I received my recent transfer, I decided to save a huge portion to complete my house project.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has been doing very well with the entire program. They have been fair in all their processes. I thank GiveDirectly for transforming my life through their great financial assistance.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been hustIing hard to gather enough money so that I could complete my house project. Therefore, when I received my recent transfer, I decided to save 75% of my money to speed up the construction of my house project and move in. I am so pleased with this program. GD is indeed a huge blessing to me and my family.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was building my house before getting GiveDirectly assistance. I have been in my brother's about six years with my family. I am a farmer. I plant crops, harvest it and take it to the market to sell before providing food for my family. My family and I are only living on farming. I have five children. Only two of my children are in school due to financial difficulties. I have been struggling just to provide my family basic needs. However, GiveDirectly life changing opportunity is a privilege for me because it wil help me to solve my problems.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GiveDirectly have no fault. They made us to get things that we never had means of getting. GiveDirectly have gave me money that my fore fathers didn't get. They will always be the supreme for all NGOs.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Completing my house project has been my greatest challenge. I used my previous transfers to buy zinc and building materials. I'm planning to use my most recent to buy mattress and ten bags of cement.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
After receiving my first payment from GiveDirectly, I immediately started building my new house. However, with this new transfer I was able to buy additional building materials to continue my house project. These materials include two bundles of zinc, roofing nail and some bags of cement. Moreover the remaining money was spend on paying the contractors to do the work.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has been doing well, since I was born, I have never heard or seen such a remarkable thing done by any organization. The humanitarian work done tirelessly by this Organization is breath taking. Friendly speaking, I have not seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly. For this reason they remain our number one helper.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my dream of building a new house, most of my recent transfer was spend on the purchasing of additional materials for the project. These materials include two bundles of zinc, some pieces of planks and roofing nail. Finally, the balance money was used to pay the contractors that are building the house. With this progress going on now in my life, I feel very delighted each and everyday.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was one morning, while carrying my daughter to school to be registered, I received a call from the town that Give Directly has send our transfer. The news got me so happy, and I started smiling.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am a farmer and I make cassava and rice farm. I make fufu and gari out of my cassava and sell it, but this wasn't enough to sustain my family and I, my house condition is so bad and it worries me a lot. Thank God for Give Directly, at least I will have a better place to lay my head and my children school fees is no longer of a burden to me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I want to build a new house, where I stay now, the house is very old and it's almost breaking on me, and the tach is almost gone from over it. I also want to complete my children tuition payment.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
In 2019 my daughter and her brother dropped out of school because I didn't have money to pay their school fees. Last year my eldest son got disabled when he went to lift up weight. Up to current my son who lives in Monrovia is still out of school due to the same reason. If I receive any money from Give Directly, I will use some of the money to send my children to school, help with my son treatment and use the balance to build my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
This is one of my happy moments this year. We have been praying and hoping that you people will come to our village with this great news. After attending the town hall meeting this morning, I got hope that things will get better soon.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenges are the health of my eldest son and money. In April of this year, my eldest son got paralysed when he went to lift up a weight. Since that incidence, I have spent lot of money but to no avail. As I told you earlier, I don't have money to send my children to school.
