What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 500000ugx on paying dowery, 1000000ugx on buying a plot of land and the balance of the money I used to buy clothes.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done well in helping us to overcome poverty in our communities and there is nothing wrong givedirectly has done according to me.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Am now married and owner of plot of land all these things I couldn't have managed to easily achieve if it wasn't because of the money I received from givedirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I used it for purchasing an acre of land worth 1,000,000ugx and the balance of 700,000ugx, I used for paying bride price.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I saw money in my phone, I became very happy and I told my wife that I am now going to complete paying my bride price such that the in-laws will be happy with me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have peace now in my life because I was able to finalize with marital issues and my spouse now is confident that she has a home now and does not think of leaving her marital home.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship am facing is lack of money to establish a retail shop bussiness. It's been my dream to start up bussiness as an additional source of income for my household but money to buy goods, rent a house has always been a limiting factor.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning.This is the time when am having break tea with my children.I usually take this time to discuss issues of how to upbring our children with my wife.Seeing my children having breakfast with me makes me happy
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying a plot of land, constructing a commercial house for a retail shop bussiness within our growing trading centre.
