Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My main dream is to join the university which I got an admission into but could not afford to raise the required fee. I have been saving some of my transfers and will continue doing so until the time comes for me to finally join. I Will also invest in more sheep which I can later sell whenever I will be in need of money for school requirements
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
For a long time, I have always wanted to own livestock because they are usually the best way to invest. Late last year, I decided to buy a sheep that has already reproduced. I feel very happy because
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I had qualified to go to the university but could not due to lack of school fees, I have been saving the transfers I have been receiving and taking any available job so as to raise the money for my fees. My hope that in six months, I will have saved enough money to enable me to join the university during the next intake in September.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to continue buying sheep. I plan to use the profit I get from my shop to top up with my monthly transfers to achieve this goal. I am determined to keep more sheep because of the high market demand. Apart from that, few people keep them hence there is no stiff competition.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that nowadays I am happy and ambitious. I recently invested my transfers by buying 5 sheep. As time goes by, they will be multiplying. The money I will get by selling the young ones will enable me to pay school fees for my children. I was supposed to have started my course a year ago. I now have hope of going back to school. With this investment, I will be able to pay for the requirements and also for upkeep.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My dream of joining a university in the next four months will have kicked off. I am looking forward to this very much because I will then be empowered to lead a decent life in the future. However old I have become, I can't miss this opportunity. It has always been my desire to go back to school and acquire more knowledge. I thank GiveDirectly for giving me the means to do that.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was in that, I am a proud owner of sheep. It is an investment that I was keen to venture into because of the various benefits. This is a simple way of saving money. When they increase in number, I can sell some of them and use the amount to accomplish other goals. I am also glad that my savings keeps growing regularly as I am keen on saving enough for my college fees.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy more sheep. I want to keep rearing them because they reproduce very fast hence translating to more profits. There is also a ready market for their meat in the nearby market and for this reason, I am certain that taking care of my needs will be ease unlike before.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the hope that I have of joining college. I am more focused on saving so as to reach this goal. It has always been my dream to pursue my career of being a teacher. I know that once my finances are put in place, I will be ready to work on my career.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
As a young boy, I always dreamt of becoming a teacher. So when I cleared my high school and passed well, I was happy that my dream of becoming a teacher was getting closer to being a reality. I was to join a teachers' college last year but lack of funds became an obstacle and I am currently saving up for this. My expectation in the next six months or so, therefore, is to have made enough savings to allow me to pursue my dream. This will in the near future help improve my family's lifestyle when I get employed.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was left hopeless after missing to join university due to lack of fee even though I had been admitted as a regular student. I live with my grandmother after my single mother left my brother and I in her hands to an unknown place. It has been hard for my grandmother to raise fee for the two of us and my university education was forgone last year in order to raise school fee to support my brother in secondary school. I was left hopeless not knowing when to join university again. In the last four months, I have been buying a sheep every month using GiveDirectly monthly transfers. I am so happy today to these growing in number and I have hope come next year they will have reproduced hence will have some to sell to help me meet my university education fee. GiveDirectly has given me hope of a better future I am currently so happy and thankful for this.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my herd of sheep to have reproduced hence it will have gained more value. This will always be my goal and hope of pursuing my degree in education. I will be happy to see this project growing.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it was if I had never received the transfer in that I have restored back my self-esteem in the society since I had always looked down upon myself for always depending on my old grandmother for basic needs. I am currently proud that I have sheep that I count as my assets thing that could not have been possible if it was not for Givedirectly. I am full of hopes of gaining more from a herd of sheep that I plan to keep using GD transfer as my capital since soon I will see them reproduce hence will have some to sell to meet my growing financial needs.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
With the little resource and availability of family land, I have a goal of bringing more sheep in the next four months since they are affordable to me and their reproduction time is short enough to help me meet my education fee.
