How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: Before the coming of givedirectly to my community life was worst than challenging for my family and i, my husband and I have two children and the biggest problem was supporting them in school. We had nothing doing, we survived from making palm oil and other pitie hustles. My biggest and newest goal is to construct my own house in other to have a decent place to rest my head with my family, therefore i am overly grateful to givedirectly for this help because without them this wouldn't have been possible.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE:Givedirectly is doing very well from the enrolment process up to present their system was really well setup. Every individual from givedirectly that had ever come my way had been kind, intelligent and friendly individuals.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: My house is gradually breaking down because it have made over 10years and it's not a cement house but mut/dirt house. My biggest dream have always been to change this my dirt/mut house to cement bricks very soon. Before givedirectly could come in this my community life for my children and i wasn't easy. I teach at a little community school here, from the little salary i get pay with i had to send my children to school, feed us, among others, which was actually impossible. Many days we had to starve, it was horrible, So reconstructing a house for me was only a mere dream to me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: I will also love to hear or see givedirectly working in the city areas in various county, because there are some people in those city areas that need help like us here. Besides this my kind request stated above Givedirectly is doing very well from the enrolment process up to present their system is really good. Every individual from givedirectly that had ever come here to talk to me had been kind and friendly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: As life has deal with my children and i over the years with hardship and strave, i can only be grateful to the givedirectly family for coming to our aid. My children are now in school and even carry lunch money with them at school now a days, so i can joyfully say life is much better for us now. Am going to purchase enough cement with this my transfer for the reconstruction of my house which is a dream come through for me.

As the result, many of my community members begun to check their accounts."

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am selected to benefit from GiveDirectly cash transfer program, I intend to renovate my house which is in a deplorable condition. And to also use portion of the money to pay my children school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought happiness to me in the last six (6) months was when my birthday came and my husband gave me a surprise with a roster chicken which was killed and eaten by members of my household. That was the only happy moment in my life for the past six months that I can record.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest challenge right now is finance. Due to the problem with my legs regarding mobility, I am not able to do certain business or even go certain distance thereby limiting my ability to hustle intensively for me and my family. And my husband is not also doing any permanent job to earn income for the family.
