What did you spend your second transfer on?
She paid graduation fee for her son worthy 400,000/=, she bought building materials worthy 87,000/=, she bought domestic utensils worthy 100,000/=, she bought her personal clothes worthy 60,000/= and the remaining balance is for completing her house and the other is for her personal upkeep.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has given her the chance to fulfill some of her dreams. And there is nothing bad with GiveDirectly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
She is now stress free because her son was going to miss his gradiation because he had not completed graduation fees but when she received money from GiveDirectly, she was able to pay off the remaining balance and now her son is ready for graduation.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I paid school fees for my child at the university at 700,000Ugsh. I invested 15,000Ugsh in my garden, I bought 3 bags of cement, I spent 490,000Ugsh on household items, good and clothes. The balance of 600,000Ugsh is not yet spent, I'm planning to spend it on digging the latrine and have it fully built and roofed because currently I don't have one at home.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy and overjoyed. I thanked God for my transfers and I prayed blessing GD.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My child is studying without tuition hardships, I'm healthy because GD took my stress away.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is the continuous illnesses I have (my health is weak) and yet most sometimes lack financial support to pay for treatment.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is In the morning when I wake up alive. Because of my weak health i am never sure of whether or not I will be alive the next day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
To me, receiving this money means improving my standards of living like renovating my house and also financially supporting my child who is doing a course in an institute.
