How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The cash transfers have improved my living standards alot. I am very grateful that I acquired an ox which has boosted my agricultural lahour force. I also purchased timber which will be used to roof my three roomed self contained house in the village. Initially, I did not have money to enable me purchase an ox and other household items. However, I am grateful that the GiveDirectly cash transfers have relieved me from that finacial tension and worry.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to send people cash transfers to use in the best way possible. In addition to this, I like the fact that they sensitized the community on the best possible ways to spend their transfers. However, there is need for GiveDirectly to revise their eligibility criteria.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer to purchase an ox and part of it was spent to purchase household items. I also spent some money on my mother's treatment.
