How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have been able to employ modern mechanisms in preparing my farm for the short rain season that includes hiring casual labourers to till my farm, application of fertilizer to boost my farm produce with the GiveDirectly's transfers that I have been saving for the last four months. I am hopeful with the promising rains I get to enough harvest at the end of the season which will ensure food security in my household and sell the surplus to generate more income.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months my additional goal is to buy with the savings from my earnings in combination with GiveDirectly's transfers. This will fulfill my desire to venture more in livestock rearing since from this I shall be able to own additional livestock which can be of help in times of emergency.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I feel so happy and healthy because I am able to meet the deadline of farming activities on time without much struggles. This is because I now hire labourers to till my farm with these transfers. Therefore, I am assured of doubled harvests this time around which will be enough for my family's consumption and sell some of the surplus.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I shall have bought a goat with the savings This will be a relieved for me because I have always wished to expand my livestock rearing project to a higher level for income generation purposes.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four-month preceding the current transfer is that I feel so happy, comfortable and healthy because I'm able to comfortably meet my needs without struggling much in relation to farming. This is because I am now able to use these transfers to hire labourers till my farm and also to buy fertilizers which will eventually boost my farm produce when the rain is promising. Therefore I will store part of the harvest which will last us up to the next harvesting season. However, I will sell the surplus in order to earn more income that will help me cater to my family's other needs.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have no additional goals at the moment since we are in the farming season and people are running up and down preparing their farms for planting. I would not wish to be left behind, so I am using more of these transfers to hire labourers to till my farm and also buy fertilizers which will eventually boost my farm produce.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to save the preceding transfer in the last four months and buy building materials to construct an animal shed. Now I am at peace since I have stable to keep my goat in my own compound hence they no longer have to be kept at my neighbour's stable which at times brought arguments and disagreements with my neighbour.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will get enough harvest. Therefore, I will store part of the harvest which will last us up to the next harvesting season. However the surplus I will sell in order to earn more income that will help me cater to my family's other needs.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My family can eat healthy food as we can afford to buy three meals a day and a very balanced diet. Previously it was even hard to provide one meal a day for my family. I also managed to save and buy steel doors and windows which were fixed and now we have a safe, secure and beautiful home.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I do not have any other goals.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I lived in a house without steel doors and windows and I used to fear that burglars might break into my house and steal my belongings. I started saving towards buying the steel doors and windows to fix in my house right when I received my first few transfers. Now, my house has a beautiful view and is secure and safe from burglars. My home security is top-notch.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
We are fast approaching our farming season and people are running up and down preparing their farms for planting. I would not wish to be left behind, so I plan to save more of these transfers to get money to hire casual labourers to till my farm. I would also wish to buy more fertilizer which will eventually boost my farm produce. I get to sell the surplus and increase food for family consumption.
