Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to use the transfer in starting a stable source of income like a business. I would not want to struggle as I have in the past after receiving help from GD. I know the business will sustain my needs after the transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I received my transfers from GD is that I was able to help my mother build a kitchen. My mother kept on talking about building a new kitchen over and over again. It was her desire to build a new kitchen where we could sleep since we used to sleep at our neighbour's house. It was a risk on our lives walking at night and this was my mother's biggest fear. When I received my first transfer, I used it to pay school fees and the rest I used on buying building materials such as iron sheets and nails. We have used the materials to build a kitchen. I feel so proud of myself for having helped out my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I know I will have managed to save enough money to start a retail shop business. It is my desire to start a business to help me raise money to meet my needs and help my family out financially as I look for employment. I am a trained teacher and getting a job right away may not happen yet I still have to look for money to meet my needs. This is why I want to start a business to sustain my needs as I look for employment.
