Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so grateful and excited after I saw the SMS. I rushed to check on my daughter if she has received hers too. It all the happiest day of my life because I saw an opportunity to accomplish everything I have ever dreamed about, which includes a house with iron sheets.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference now is I have enough food for the whole family which was not the case before GD. We are all sleeping on the matress and each one in this household has clothes, including the children who would skip school coz of poverty. And when the rains stops, I will have on of my biggest achievement, which is a house with Iron sheets.
