How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal was to renovate my house.I was doing petite trading but that wasn't enough to do what I intended to do.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first and second transfer was use to improved my old thatch house which use to leak when ever it's rain with part of my transfer and the balance money was used for my 7 children school fees.With the recent transfer, i have started 2 building a new shop for my business.I am one of the happiest recipients in my community.Because, i never expected such gift from any body especially NGO in my life.Thanks to Givedirectly for making my life better.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I appreciate Givedirectly for coming in to my life because life had been very difficult until Givedirectly came in my community.The transfer brought joy in my household.I can now afford for my famiy daily. Givedirectly is a great and fair NGO in Liberia. Every process went well

Through the transfer from Givedirectly, i was able to paid my 7 children school fees with part of my transfer and bought one bundles of Zinc with part of the money also bought three bags of rice for my family food.Today, i am a testimony because, my family life is now better than before.There is happiness in my household and can now afford my own money.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set in mind before receiving this transfer is to invest my transfer into making petty business . My previous plan has been to buy a used motorbike for business purpose and establish a shop from the amount of money I will generate from running the motor bike in this village . Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support . I believe that with my transfer, my dream to become a successful business person will soon come to pass.

In my opinions, Givedirectly is really doing well. Through Givedirectly cash transfer, I am now empowered financially to start making business in this village. Other recipients in this village are also using their transfers to build new houses. In terms of improvement area, Givedirectly should focus her attention on working with Momo agents to help cashout recipients transfers smoothly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my most recent transfer to buy one used motorbike for traffic. I have invest some of my money in to my saving club. Saving is another best way of investing money for the future. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support .I believe that with my transfer,I am going to buy one lot of land in Monrovia for my children and I to relocate in the future.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in my room when I received a message with a huge amount of money in it. I was very happy that morning, I was dancing all over the village rejoicing. I was happy because in my whole life I haven't received such a money for free. My plan I has was to improved my house but I never had the money to accomplish my plan. I will have to sale my small market the hole day because getting food to eat. I never even had hope that I will be able to finish my house. But with the help of givedirectly my house is under construction.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is that, the things I wasn't having, now I have them. Now I'm able to buy my house materials to start improving my house. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support

When I received my transfer I was able to buy ten (10) begs of cement that cost 30.000 LD thousand Liberian dollars. The rest of the money I was able to buy sand and paid the workmanship.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My husband and I want to fully complete our house which is our first priority now. Secondly, we need to send our children to school and to establish a business that will enable us to continue supporting ourselves and our children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Within the last six months, we were able to generate money from our local village saving club and got one motorcycle.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband is using a motorcycle to support all our children and feed our family which is very hard work for him because of the rainy weather we are experiencing; he usually gets ill and his illness can cause our family hardship.
