How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goals have not changed since the time time I was receiving the money. I had always wanted to build a good house buy fertilizer as I have always struggled with that and buy food and that is exactly what I did with the money

Givedirectly does everything very well. There is no problem I find in their work
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my second transfer to pay for labour for bricks to use in building my house. The other part of the money I have saved to pay the builder when building the house

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a leper and have difficulties in walking and doing some jobs because of my condition. Having been enrolled into the program, I believe the money will help to renovate my old house and also put up a nice roof so that it stops leaking during Heavy rains. I also intend to buy enough food and fertilizers for my garden so that I harvest enough food next year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest today because I have been enrolled into the program and I believe the money will help me transform my life for the better
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I do not have enough food and I am afraid I will starve. Last year, I did not harvest enough food because I didn't apply fertilizers which resulted in poor yields
