How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Prior to being enrolled by GiveDirectly, I had lost my husband to an accident. This left me helpless with no financial support for the family. However, the cash transfers positively changed my life. My children look healthier because I can afford to purchase nice food for them. More so, my health has improved because I can access fast medical services with ease. I would like to appreciate GiveDirectly for sending me the cash transfers that empowered me to start a new happy life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I like the fact that GiveDirectly sent direct cash transfers to the poor who have changed their lives. Many people have built houses and acquired property. On the otherhand, I cannot point out anything that GiveDirectly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer to purchase a cow , a goat, a bed and mattress. I also bought clothes for my children. I plan to spend the balance on farming.
