What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have a family that is very large but some are not living with me here currently because my house is small. With the cash transfer if I am successful, I will build a bigger house for my family and I to live together happily. I will also use part of the money to send my children to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have been worried for months about my living condition. For the past time nothing had made me happpy. But today , seeing Givedirectly here brought so much joy that I can not explain. I have heard about Givedirectly work in other communities and it have been my greatest prayers to be on the GD program ,so that my family and myself can benefit. I feel so happy today and I pray that my family and myself be qualified for the cash transfer.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge is the lack of money. I am not working and have a large family. I have eight children that i need to send to school. The farm I have is just ro feed my family and help us to live. But it is not big enough to give my cash that will settle some of my problems that I have. Like building a big house for my family, sending my children to school and starting a business that will make us ro have income.
