How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I plan to invest in my mother's project. I have been suffering from taking care of my family as a young woman. We had so many plans but we couldn't fulfill any of them because of the poverty constraints in our setting. My major goal is to build my mother house and starts a business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The level of poverty constrained that I was faced with has reduced. Things have now improved since I started receiving money from Give Directly. Am grateful to God for this opportunity.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The recent transfer I received from Give Directly, was used to buy food for my family. I also used some of the money to pay for additional materials to complete my house.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My first and second transfer was used to buy enough building materials like Zinc, nails, plant and rice.I have developed a new goal. My new goals is, i have paid for additional materials like cement and bricks also i have hire contractors to brush my rice and cassava farm.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly give me a cash that I have never owned.farming had been my source of livelihood .and I have never generate much money for my family support but since I received the transfer, there is always happiness in my household. Thanks to Givedirectly for bringing happiness in my life.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With this money from Givedirectly, i was able to buy cement, bricks and hire contractors to brush my rice and cassava farm. My life is better now than before because with this money, i have been able to start building my new house. Before Givedirectly came in my community, I was living in a family house with my husband and my children. I am happy because my life is now better.Thanks to Givedirectly for making my family life better.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to build a house in Monrovia on my family land . My Children are growing up and attending school in this village, a time from now, they will have to relocate to Monrovia inorder to further their educations. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support.I believed that when I build a house in Monrovia, my children will be able to relocate there and further their education.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is actually empowering the poor in Liberia. Givedirectly is one of the best and transparent organizations in Liberia. Through Givedirectly cash support, many recipients have started building their own houses and send their children to schools. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I have not seen any system which Givedirectly needs to change.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to buy two bundles of zinc along with 15packs of assorted nails. I bought 35pieces of planks and have transported them to Monrovia. I am awaiting the next transfer to start clearimg the site for building in Monrovia. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that with my transfer, few months from now, I will be able to build temporary structure in Monrovia.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in my village baking my bread when I heard people shouting that givedirectly has sent our money, I left my baking right away and when to the network areas to check if I have received mine. Luckily for me I saw a huge amount of money in it. I was very much happy on receiving the money. I was happy because I haven't seen people giving money for free Without paying back.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Through the transfer, I have been able to buy iron sheets to build my own house. I was also able to paid my children school fees. Now my children are happy because they're all in school, we have enough of food in the house, my family are healthy than before. I am grateful to Givedirectly for their support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I paid my children school fees, I bought enough of food for my family. and I also bought cement and 2 bundle of iron sheets to build my owned house in my village. The house I'm living in right now is our family house, it's embarrassing for my children and I because everyone is sleeping in the same room. Before than I have to sale bread and struggle just to fine food for my family, my children where not in school at all. But with the help of givedirectly my children school fees has been paid.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Continue my education is the most important thing on the mind now so getting the opportunity and money; I will continue my education till I can achieve my dream.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Joining a local village saving club was something that really makes me happy because with that I was able to get money to feed my two children and myself.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Really, my major challenge now is getting food for my children and getting money to start a business that will enable me to go back to school.
