How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm now living in my dream house that was built through the help of Givedirectly funding.I have been passionate about business.I'm hoping to establish a small business where I will travel to the Ivory coast to purchase some food items along with other goods to sell in the town to reduce the burden on the town's people not to go far community to purchase food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The money we received from Givedirectly makes me to become a home owner. This organisation is empathetic, unique, committed in their work.I also appreciate all their field officers who are always on the bad road every other day without any complain just to reach the recipients.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I lived in one of my oldest sister's houses in the town. We survive through the means of hunting. Sometimes, when I take the meat to sell, there are not many buyers. We end up eating it.I find it difficult to raise some cash to care for my children. It has really been tough throughout our lives. My spouse goes to hustle at time on the gold mine field, but what he earns can't sustain us as well. The money we received from Givedirectly completed the house we started building with our first and third transfers and now we are living in our new home.I'm grateful to God almighty for the opportunity given to us.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My name Esther Jah, I live in a village known as Solobloh in River Gee County. When I am successful to receive the transfer I will use some portion to build a house because I have been living in this small mud structure for so long and it's not comfortable for me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought us unfailing joy and endless happiness in the last six months was when my boyfriend bought me zinc for the house I want to build.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
In the last six months my greatest challenge has been food, due to the river we have to go to Ivory coast before getting food for our family.
