Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The biggest plan is to ensure I reduce the loan deficit as much as possible without defaulting on any month. I will make sure that I still maintain the monthly payment of kes 1500 which I know will go along way in helping me become debt-free in the unforeseeable future. Repaying back the loan will also help in funding needy kids who are currently at the Universities.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I mostly use the money to re-pay back my HELB loan which played a vital role in helping me clear my University education within the right timeframe. Were it not for the loan, I think my studies at the University would have been quite a hell. I normally make sure that I pay back approximately kes 1500 every single month.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I do not see life-changing so much from how it is today because my primary focus remains to be the debt repayment, which normally leaves me with very little after getting the transfers from Give Directly.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The difference in my life in the last four months is that I have new personal items such as clothes, shoes. Since I finished my university last years, I have not gotten any source of income to help me meet my needs. This is why I have always had to use the ones I bought earlier on. WIth GD transfers, I have been able to use part of it to buy new clothes and shoes which has brought a lot of difference in muy life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to continue paying for the Higher Education Loan so that I may avoid many interests that I would have accrued if I don't service my loan. My desire is to finish it as soon as possible.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have been able to service my Higher Education Loans on a monthly basis. After school, I would have accrued many interests since I did not have any stable source of income to help me service the loan on a regular basis. I was afraid it will take me time to get an income to service the loan and when GD came to my life, I decided to use part of my transfers to service the loan. I am glad I do not have any interest accrued now.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have paid a major part of my Higher Education Loans loan. This will be a big relief in my life because the Government has put a notice on those who fail to service their loans. I would not want to be in that list

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have managed to reduce the accumulated amount of loan I owe HELB. When I finished campus, I was never been able to pay the loan and it has been accumulating. I also saved the transfers and started poultry farming but unfortunately, all the poultry died.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any additional goal as I have many things I wish to do with this transfer. I want to concentrate more on paying the loan which is about everything it does.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The transfers have quite helped me in many ways. The major one is that I have less pressure as I have dedicated these transfers to paying off my HELB loan. When I graduated from campus, I had HELB loan to clear but given I did not find a job immediately, I could not pay so it kept on accumulating. I am glad that I have managed to reduce the amount even though I still have a large amount that I still need to pay.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I plan to save and venture into poultry farming to help in earning some income for me and my family. I am looking into buying a laptop to start up online writing. These two ways of earning income will enable me to generate more money to use in paying off the loan.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Going through education smoothly was one of the advantages that I got from the Government plan of giving out loans to needy student called the ( HELB loan). I had also to return the favour of starting to pay the loan and so far the biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that, I have managed to reduce my HELB loan fee just hoping to clear it so as to avoid fine when I will be picking my compliance certificates.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have managed to start a business. I believe that business is life because this is what most of the youths depend on nowadays and from the profits of my business, I am certain that I will be able to take care of my needs easily.

I have a new goal of opening a play station, this is one thing I had not thought of because I knew I couldn't afford it but now that I'm sure of receiving money monthly I believe I can make it.
