Currently, my cow is expected and my short-term goal is to wait until after birth and start milking my cow for commercial purposes. I plan to sell a liter at $0.62 which will help me pay school fees for my children without strain.

The staff is polite from the beginning of the project to the end. I got to interact with them with no fear and even though they are helping us, they were kind to us.

Before the transfer, I lived in a house that was not in good condition every day I would wake with the fear that it will collapse. I worked as a night guard getting a pay of $50 a month. We spent KES 25000 of our recent transfer on buying a cow. We decided to buy the cow because we didn't have our own. The one that we used to rear, we had borrowed it from someone. Sometimes when the cow is dry, we lack a source of milk and we are forced to buy some for preparing tea. Milk for sale is not usually easily available due to high demand. We thus usually spend a lot of time looking for it in the morning which usually results in our son being late to go to school. With the new cow, we will have a constant supply of milk when one cow is dry. Other than that, we spent KES 6000 on buying a wire mesh for placing it all around the chicken house. We decided to do so so that we could restrain our chickens from going out to destroy crops on other people's farms. We also bought more chickens for rearing where we spent KES 9000 on them. We only had 20 chickens, we thus decided to buy 60 more. The chickens are usually of great help to us since I usually sell the eggs during the market day and the money that I get from the sales, usually helps me in paying school fees for my child and buying foodstuffs that are needed at school. We also spent KES 8800 on buying some chairs. We had managed to build the house but we had not bought chairs. With the remaining transfer amount, we spent it on buying clothes for the children and food for our consumption.
