What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying 30 pieces of iron sheets which I am planning to use on building my homestead with and this hasn't been possible since the traditions recommends that as one of the young sons in my family I can't build my homestead until my elder brothers have built their's first. I also bought an ox that assist me to cultivate my farm.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on furnishing my house. I had just married and had to transition from being a bachelor to fatherhood. So I had to furnish the house to provide a safe landing for the newly married bride. Besides that, I purchased some building materials in readiness for construction of an iron roofed house once my third transfer is sent.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer rely on the meager wages I received for working on people's farms the whole day. I am so proud that my dream projects are running so well and my lifestyle is changing day by day.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is I have been unable to provide food for my family, especially now that drought is so severe, and not easy to farm to get food. I don't have job that gives me money to buy food to put on the table for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the evening when I come back from my casual labor, where at least I have some cash to buy food for dinner for my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very happy to receive the news that I am going to benefit from unconditional cash transfer from Give directly. I have had so many problems that I have been unable to settle. Therefore I will start a business, like mini shop to sale basic commodities to uplift the living standard of my family.
