Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the joy and changed lifestyle that has come with this transfer that I got. This is because I was able to get back my land, buy a sewing machine that is now helping me to meet some of my family immediate needs, and having a solar system that is lighting up my home. Prior to receiving this money although I had a small business of buying and selling silver fish that kept me always on move to sell or buy it, I am happy to say that getting a sewing machine now keeps me home and I am able to spend a lot of time with my family and know them better.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt happy that I had got money that would help me in most of my needs and anxious on its entire expenditure.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy iron sheets Ugx 414000 that I plan to use when I build my house. I then bought a sewing machine at Ugx 350000 that I will use as a source of income to cater for my family after offering the service to the community. I then paid and got back land at Ugx 350000 that was given out in exchange for money for my marriage. I then bought some household items such as solar, utensils, a mattress, a bed, all at Ugx 300000. I am saving up some money that I am using to cater for some immediate family needs like feeding and also I plan to start molding bricks.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to bring back the piece of land that we loaned out to someone. I picked 400.000ugx from a neigubour and he took one piece of land as security which I have failed to repay todate, I know the GD money will help me repay that money and I get back my garden.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my husband is back home from his days work. We sit and chat together, making me happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest harship I am facing right now is limited land for agriculture. Currently I have one piece of land that I do agriculture in. The harvest we from that garden is not even enough to sustain the family through the dry season. If I bring back my garden it will mean more harvests for the home and the surplus for sale.
