What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my entire third transfer transfer to buy a motorcycle which I use in transportation business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have bought my own motorcycle for business which earns me enough income to support my family. Thank you Gd for the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in not forcing recipients to accept the transfers but only gave transfers to those who accepted. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well.

I spend my second transfer on buying two male cattle for plowing at 38000 KES while the remaining 12000 KES was spent on buying a plow.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I am leaving a changed life compared to when I had not received transfer.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on hiring a piece of land to grow our food (5,000 KES), purchase of a bag of dry corn for food (4,000 KES).
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt much thrill in me and deeply grateful because I had a Farming project that had stalled due to lack of finances but now with the transfers it would take off.!!

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on taking my wife to college to study Early Childhood Development and I will also buy one cow to raise which will also provide milk and give birth to many more.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to lease some land and grew maize which gave us good harvest and we used the money from the proceeds to buy one cow.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we are facing currently is on making ends meet, the farm are no longer as fertile as they used to be in the past and as such they don't give much yields as before.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm attending to my farm.I grow maize, beans, bananas and even sweet potatoes.
