What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing a door and fitted in my house. I had just constructed a house but did not have enough funds to fit a door, I therefore improvised one by means of torn cloths and polythene bags to serve me for a while as I struggle to purchase a door. It so happened that before I struggled much, GiveDirectly stepped in and bailed me out. Am very proud of the organization!!!
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I received my transfer considering the situation I was undergoing at the moment of being in a house without a door in a very insecure area. Am so happy that that is no more today.
