What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I'm qualified to received the cash transfer I will build my own house, and used the remaining one to sell bread. It has been my dream to build my own house for my household to live independently, but because of the little income from the produce we get from the farm I have not been able to fulfill my dream. My husband has three wives and he focuses on the other two more than me, for that; I have to stay with my children in my father's house. With the business I will be able to sponsor my children in school and provide their daily needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought joy or happiness to me in the last 6 months is the good health of my grandmother. It was in August when my grandmother cut sick for a month but the moment I received a call from my siblings that she was okay, that brought me more happiness and joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I'm face with are financial constrain , and the inability to provide my children daily needs. My husband lives in another town with his other wife and only visits us once in a while. When I harvest two bags of cassava and take it to the market, I usually bring it back home because due to the rainy season buyers are limited.
