What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying solar lamp for lighting purposes hence I no longer incur expenses of buying paraffin more frequently. I bought school uniform and stationery for my child. I also bought four goats and cultivated my farm using a tractor hence I have already prepared my land on time for planting.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have a decent semi -permanent house that I did not have before. I also have a solar lamp for lighting and my children can now study peacefully and at any time of the night. My children are also going without being absent due to school fees arrears.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving unconditional cash transfers to the poorest households since they have alleviated poverty in my society as this individuals have built decent houses and invested on different business as well.
