How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The first and second money was used to buy two bundles of Zinc, one matress and plant to build a new house because I am living in my family house with my children and my husband. I have not developed a new goal because I want to complete the buying of my house materials. With the recent transfer, I bought additional materials like Zinc, plant and saved the balance money. My life is now better than before.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sitting infront of my kitchen when I received my first mobile money alert to my phone unexpectedly. I was very happy and didn't know what to do. Though things are difficult but with the business am doing, am happy abiut it. More to that, Give Direct program in community have brought some form of happiness to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a single mother with a son who father abandoned us since 2019. Am involve with the production and sale of gari. I also sell fish and other goods. Getting money is difficult these and had been a constraint for me.
