How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I been able to acquire livestock that currently engages me when I look after them. This is not like the past, when I never had anything meaningful and productive to do. This livestock has also given me hope that, poverty is no longer and will never be my biggest problem.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving out the cash transfers to poor that has enabled us to afford the things we couldn't have done on our own. However, Give directly has not done nothing wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the biggest portion of my second transfer on buying sheep worth Ugx1600000 and the balance on food.
