What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer -1,000,000 ugx on partly paying for a motorcycle that I am planning to completely buy. I also spent 500,000 ugx in hospital for operation as my wife's pregnancy was complicated. I also bought a bed and matress at 70,000 and 95,000 ugx respectively. And then the balance to take care of home expenses.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Since I had not yet seen the message, I was in the process of borrowing money and take my wife to hospital. When I reluctantly checked my mobile money account balance, I found that I had received money from Give Directly. I was very happy and relieved that my immediate problem was solved.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I no longer have pressure from the motobike owner who always wanted 10,000 ugx per day since I am owning the motobike. I can now take care of my family and provide for it.
