How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am happy because the cash transfer enabled me to settle all my outstanding debts. In addition to that, I also purchased two oxen that havw simplified farming for me. I was also able to purchase household items like clothes, bedding. In the past, I could not afford to buy all these items at once. I am very glad that I settled all my debts and I can walk freely without looking over my shoulder.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does well to send money directly to the poor. This money has helped me alot and my life is now vibrant. On the otherhand, I do not see any fault with GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase household items like clothes, mattress, bedding. I also cleared an old loan and the balance I spent it to construct a big grass thatched house.
