How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was living in my big brother house with my family. I never had enough money to build my own house. my source of livelihood was only making garden and sell it to sustain the family. With the gift from Givedirectly, I have developed a new goal. My new goal is to build a new house and save part of my transfer to multiple it for future benefit like children school fees, hospital bill and food. Currently, I am using this second transfer to move on with my construction faster. A very big thanks to the Givedirectly family for their assistance.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I thank GiveDirectly for making me a great person in my community.GiveDiretly did well by making me to own money which I have never seen in my life.In my opinion, what Givedirectly has not done well is the cash out process. because going to Grand Bassa was very expensive and stressful in withdrawing the transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been able to buy more construction materials to push up my building so that my family will have a comfortable and spacer living place. With the financial help from Givedirectly, I am happy because, I was really suffering to get my family support. Now, with the first and second transfer, I am relaxed because, The way I use to wake up earlier to go in my garden is not happening anymore. Thanks to Givedirectly for making me who I am now in my family.

Because this is the first time in my life to received such money for free. It wasn't easy on me few years ago. To even get food to eat a day was a challenge for me. I wanted to go to school but didn't have the support to enroll. I feel blessed to be on this program and to be successfully enrolled as a recipient. I now have the hope that I am going to enroll myself in school. I am also trying to build my own house.
