Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life's biggest difference is the joy I have seeing that I was able to timely take back my children to school with fully paid up fees. Prior to getting this money, although I used to farm and sell off produce to educate my children, I also always move from SACCO to SACCO, bank to bank, or person to person to get loan money to top up to take my children to school. At times they stayed home until I was able to raise some money to take them to school.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I saw the notification about my transfer, I felt so happy that I would then take back my children to school on time.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 500000 to pay up fees for my children. I then used approximately Ugx 300000 to buy household items such as two mattresses, a big bed, three pairs of bed sheets, utensils and cater for some day to day expenses. I then used Ugx 900000 to partly pay up land that I intend to buy.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to increase food productivity in my home by way of buying oxen that will support in cultivation. I will take care of the education needs of my children so that they can get a better future especially when they get jobs. In case there is any balance, I hope to build a house that I can sleep in.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am seated with the rest of my family. We share ideas.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is paying school fees for my children. My children are in higher levels of learning which also requires high amounts of money. I am a police officer but my salary is always not enough to take care of the need. I try to do cultivation and actually sell off part of the harvest in order to raise money but still money is not enough considering the fact that other household needs have to be taken care of as well.
