I am differentiating my life as i am eating daily at home as before by this time of a month i used to go search for pieceworks to get money. this time around i have money for food

It has done better in helping me get food in my house

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when i received my transfer. I should also extend my gratitude to the entire GD staff.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
There is a big difference in my life. I managed to hire labor for my maize field, i bought fertilizer which i could not manage on my own. I also bought cement with the funds. Am also sleeping on a nice place. I enjoy the comfort of matress.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
In the first place, i bought maize. I had hunger so i had to chase that problem. I then bought fertilizer, mattress, Cement, clothes and supported my kids with learning materials.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This means alot to me and i have welcomed this programme whole heartedly
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is during noon hours because that's when i eat Nsima unlike in the morning because i don't eat anything.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is how to make money for basic needs and food,also i sleep in un finished house i would love to finish it as soon as possible.
