I can now spend the little money I get on food items and other household requirements which means that my family can now feed better.Four months ago,all my efforts were channeled towards raising money to repair my roof even if it meant going hungry.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I hope that my livestock will have grown enough to fetch more money so that I can sell them and buy a cow.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
Yes,I do have a new goal, I have a daughter who dropped out of school for lack of school fee so,with this money,I see her either going back to school or taking a technical course to make her self dependent.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My current life is different in that I am going to have a strong house. This is what could have never happened in my life were it not for the money I received from GiveDirectly. I could have been a refugee in someone's house.

In the next six months, most of the things I would want in my house I shall be having ready. My family will be leading more comfortable life.

I am a widow who was left with nothing in my name ,so when I received the money,I was so happy. I have a piece of mind. My house is going to be renovated and I do not get scared when I see the winds blowing.
