Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start a small business to boost my income. Currently, I rely on a small income from casual work as my main source of income. The income has not been much hence I have not been able to provide for my family well. I would not want to continue ion the same state again after the transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I built a new house last year and I have always wanted to plaster it but due to low income from farming, it has always remained to be a dream. But when I started receiving these transfers, I started a small savings account which I used to buy building materials such as cement and sand. I have used the materials to plaster the house. My house is now presentable.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I would want to have a small business as my main source of income. I have been relying on casual work of ploughing on other peoples' farm as my main source of income. As a result of unreliability from casual work, I have not been providing for my family well which I would want to improve on. I want to have a stable source of income which will help me reduce my financial burden and I do not over-work to get an income. This is why I have resolved in starting a business.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different from how it was in that, I have been able to fully furnish my house. I have been able to buy seats and other household items that I couldn't afford previously. These transfers have made me achieve a lot within a short time. I can accommodate many visitors without asking small household items like I used to do before I started getting these transfers. I can only thank GiveDirectly for removing the shame of begging most of the time.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to boost my business. I normally operate a kiosk which is doing well but I want to restock it by adding a variety of goods so as to attract many customers. The challenge that I have at the moment is getting the brands of goods that my customers want. I am in the process of solving this and I am hopeful that all will go well. I have been running it for six months with the help of the transfer. I don't regret starting it. I will do all I can to ensure It succeeds.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I was able to plaster the whole of my house. My mud-walled house had several defects which had a negative impact on our health. The dust could make us catch flu and cough, this was expensive because I had to use a lot of money for treatment. Today the house now looks decent after plastering it. Apart from that, none of my family members has gone to the hospital for treatment for the past three months
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is to expand my business. Since I live here, I know almost all the needs that my community have if not all. I am working hard to ensure that I bring all these items because its the only way that I will attract more customers. I wish I could get everything they need so that they will not lack anything that they want.

The biggest difference in my life is that I have saved and bought building materials i.e cement and sand to plaster my house. We had built a new house but could not afford to buy the building materials as my husband's motorcycle business generated minimal income which could only help us buy food for consumption. I am now a proud owner of a beautiful house. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now living in a good, beautiful and warm house which is enough and can accommodate my entire family. I bought building materials and paid for labour which saw me build this house. Previously, I was living in the mud-smeared house which exposed my children to cold and flu as a result of dust.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have begun a business which will earn me some income to help me contribute to merry-go-round contribution.
