What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The biggest challenge iam facing is floods in my area and iam not ready to suffer the same losses again so iam planning to use KES 45,000 of my cash transfers to buy land on higher grounds so that we can live peaceful and comfortable without fear of floods on raining season.I will use KES 20,000 of my cash transfers to boost our business and the remaining money I will use it to pay my children school fees, buy food, clothing and furniture for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I got amazing harvest on march 2024 which really touched my heart because I sold my produce at a good price. I was able to clear fees for my school going children, stock food and also boost my wife's business
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am living in a flood prone area and as a farmer I really encountered a great lost, my one and half piece of land was swept away which is our only asset. Iam currently an IDP I came to borrow house to stay in, because my house was destroyed by floods and because am struggling financially iam not able to renovate it
