What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means improving my living conditions, with this money I plan on buying a cow at $405 this will provide milk for sell and home consumption which will provide proteins hence good health, I shall use its manure which is a rich fertiliser. In addition I shall buy coffee seeds, beans, maize seeds and fertilisers at $322, this I know will grow and have good harvest, in this I shall sell and earn money and use it to support our daily lives. I intend to start up a retail shop selling soap, sugar and other basic items in Shibanga trading centre at $940 I intend to use its profits for emergency purposes. I shall also purchase new clothes, beddings at $81 so as I can survive the cold nights. My children have been constantly been chased for school fees, I shall therefore use $81 to pay the school debts and save $54
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what I consider have brought happiness in my life was when I harvested my coffee beans in September 2022 which I sold and earned I earned high profits
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
What a life! I really work hard but do not gain much this because I sometimes have the seeds but no fertilisers and I end up having poor yields, I got a loan from SACCO which I used to buy seeds and fertilisers and as the crops were flourishing flash floods washed them away this frustrated me, SACCO took my assets which they sold to make up for their money. I ended up making a loss , I therefore consider financial constraints as my biggest challenge.
