What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am unemployed and more besides I'm not doing any business to help support the home, my husband is the only person who is working in order to sustain the family.
The money my husband earn from the job he's doing is use on food and medication.
I want to start a business of my own which I will earn money from in order to take care of some responsibility of the family but there's no money. It pains me a lot seeing myself sitting home doing nothing.
The house my family and I live in is a thatch structure, it leaks so badly whenever there's a heavy down pull of rain. Because of that, some of our belongings get damaged.
If I'm successful to receive this cash transfer from Givedirectly, I will use some of the money to start a business and use the balance to build a house.
