How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My house had two plates and two pots, in short it was like a bachelor's house. We struggled so much when it comes on having meals and we waited for children to eat first then I and my husband we ate last. The coming in of GD program changed our lives. Soon after receiving the first transfer we went and buy extra plate and pots. I can now rejoice that I have a kitchen. I am able to host people now better than before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The program went on well how I wished it will continue.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought bricks and timber that will be used to build a house and 3 bags of maize.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will help us quite alot. We will use it to buy iron sheets, blankets, food and other household basic needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam usually happy in the afternoon/noon because it is when we eat something. When we have inadequate food, we choose to eat it at lunch.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We usually lack money to buy food for the family as my husband does not have a reliable and stable source of income.
