How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I bought three bundles of zinc, paid my children school fees, paid for three bags of 25kg rice, five pieces of steel with part of the transfer and save the balance money. I developed a new goal. I established a new business to take care of my family when Givedirectly shall have left the community. My life is now better. The way i was suffering to get money have reduced through the money i received from givedirectly. Thanks to givedirectly because my life is now better than before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well because my life had been stressful and with the money, my life is now better than before. All the steps went well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I established a new business to take care of my family when Givedirectly shall have left the county especially paying of children school fees and food for the family. My life have improved through the money. No more worry about family support. My life have changed. A big thanks to givedirectly for reducing poverty in my household.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to provide a good education for my children. I also like to build a new house and start a business. Life has been very difficult for me and my children. I believe that my life will improve be of the changes and impacts of Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, this is the best organization that I have come across since I was born. I have been living a very deplorable life. Providing a meal and sending my children to school has also been a great challenge for me. Am grateful that Give Directly came my way. There's a big change in my life.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
In the recent transfer I received from Give Directly, I used part of it to buy zinc, I also used part of it to get some provisions for my children. The balance of money is in saving for future use.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my way to my farm when I received a message with a huge amount of money in it. I was so much happy and rejoicing that day, I was rejoining because it's my very first time for people to give me that amount of money before. I'm a farmer, my plan been to build my own house in my village and send my children to school, but I never had money to accomplish that. My children where all out of school due to low income. But I'm so grateful to God and Givedirectly that I was enrolled on this program.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is, my children are all healthy and now school, my children eat twice a day now, my life has changed. Now I have savings to support my family. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support.

When I received my transfer I was able to registered all my children in school, I also bought enough foodstuff for my family, I bought 1 bundle iron sheets to change my leaking thatched. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for making my dream come to passed.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"Right now the structure we live in has roof problem, the zinc has leakages because it is old. my spouse is a fisherman and he needs additional fish nets, further more, my children are in school and i need money to pay their balance fees. When i receive the transfer from GiveDirectly, i will spend portion of it on the renovation of my roof, buy additional fish nets to enable my spouse expand the fishing activities and use the balance money for my children fees".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Few of my children stays in monrovia with my sister and the rest of them in Buchanan with my spouse's sister. In the last six month i was able to contact them and got to know they are all doing well. With this news given to us, it brought Joy and happiness to in my life".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"For now our biggest challenge is cash. Because when Cash is available we will be able to renovate our leaking roof, buy additional fish nets to enable my spouse expand the fishing activities and use the balance money for my children fees".
