What did you spend your third transfer on?
The moment I received my third transfer, I cleared school fees arrears for my 2 children in a secondary school using the whole of it. I feel like denying a child education is like violating his/ her right.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been without cash transfers in that currently, I live a debt-free kind of life. Again, we have acquired a better dwelling courtesy of Give Directly, a house which is cemented and therefore healthier for our lives.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, I am pleased with the fact that Give Directly sends us money directly but I am not happy with the duration of contact it maintains with the community members- I have a feeling that it should make it a little longer.
