How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan has always been to expand my house and start a business. Upon receiving the money I immediately started my project. Currently I don't have no new goal.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well in keeping their word. They promised to send us money four times and they did that without excuses. For me I have not seen anything GiveDirectly is not doing well.

My most recent transfer was spent on building a house to enable my children go to school in an urban area.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was outside my yard when one of my friends walked up to me purposely to have me informed about the message she received from Givedirectly. I was similarly anticipating the same message because I was enrolled and given both Sim card and phone by Givedirectly. I took my phone and walk up the hall where we normally go to get network. I
checked my account and fortunately, I saw the message of 40375 Liberian dollars from Givedirectly. I join the rest of the villages to celebrate.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was sad because I never had money to do what I wanted, but now I am happy because of the money.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My village is dominated with thatched houses and we are seriously challenge during the rainy season time. I have on many occasions been affected by the heavy storm especially the roof of the building.Therefore, I have concluded to undertake a new house project and use the money to facilitate such project. The country is hard and the harvest from my farm is not enough to undertake a new construction, but with Givedirectly timely intervention, I am all set to improve my life.

" I intend building a bigger and more decent house for my family and me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
"It has been my dream as stated previously to establish a business of my own but due to lack of finance, I been unable to make said dream a reality. Though I'm yet to be told the amount I will receive but hearing about this money is my biggest joy because I am of the conviction that my spouse will give me the go ahead to use the money to start up a small business no matter how much the money may be.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Establishing a business of my own to help my husband provide for our home is the major challenge i have been faced with."
