What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to start a business of selling corn at least to increase my family income. I also aided my husband to purchase a second hand motorcycle that he uses for taxi business using part of the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that our family income has so much increased as we pull our profits together from our business. We are now able to comfortably take care of our family. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a bag of maize 3,500 KES.I paid cultivation fees since I used a tractor 2500 and school fees arrears for my three children who are in primary and nursery school 1500 KES .I also bought non-edible items and three school shoes for my children 1500 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money ,my heart was filled with joy since at that moment I did not have food and any money to pay school fees for my three children and the money was like a saver to the situation which was at hand.

Paying school fees has been the biggest hardship. Basically, because I don't have a stable form of income.

In the evening because I get to be with my entire family and discuss how our day was.

Receiving this money will change my life because, I will start my own business and pay for my children school fees.
