How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I hope to accomplish my building construction project in this coming year from GiveDirectly transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly is doing well by taking us from poverty or hardship. They could do better by covering the entire county including all the districts.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
One morning while cooking my son's food to get him ready for school, I heard people shouting that they have received money from GiveDirectly. I too started checking my phone for messages. Then I saw a message that I have also received 35625LD from GiveDirectly INC. I was so exited, and the first thing that came to my mind was to buy cement and plaster my house. The next day I went to zleh town and cash out the money. I bought cement, school uniform for my son and also food for my household.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I am living in a stick mudded structure that I have planned to plaster long time ago, but there was no financial power to do so. But now that I have started receiving money from Givedirectly, I am going to plaster my house and even get money to pay my son's school fees and buy his uniform, I know my life has changed for from bad to better. I am so excited and appreciate Givedirectly for this great help in my life and that of my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spend my most recent transfer on buying my son uniform, cement and food for my entire house. I also kept 30% of the cash to be added to the next transfer to enable me purchase lot assorted building materials for the building of my new home.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Since my husband and I struggle to build this house, we were unable to complete it because we are financially depressed. Therefore upon receiving this grant, we will use portion of the transfer to complete our house, another portion will be use on our children education, because they are our future leaders. Lastly the balance transfer will be use to paid laborious to work on my coco farm.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought happiness to was that when my daughter got her high school graduation clearance.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently the major challenge I am facing is the how to paid my children school fees because they are future leaders for tomorrow. Since I dont have the financial strength.
