How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The only new goals that I have now is to buy a balance tow bundles of zinc to complete with my house. I also purchased a few pics of planks to use it for the roofing.I also pay my children tuition and bought them some school material. I did also bought a mattress and a music player for myself.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly doing great things for me and my family.they are very much good in their job as an NGO in Liberia.with their support towards me and my family. I'm able now to have my own house with a zinc. I'm so grateful to them for their support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The most recent transfer that I just received from givedirectly. I'm going to use it to complete my house. I bought two bundles of zinc and even pay for few pics of planks that is going to be used for roofing. I pay my son school fees and bought he few school items.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to purchase additional zinc to start building my house. I want to build another house in this village because my current house is small and can not host strangers. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support the cash support. I believe that with my transfer, my dream to build new house br lwill soon come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is really doing great job for us in this village. Givedirectly staffs have respect for everyone. Through Givedirectly cash supports' many recipients lives has been improved in many others ways. Some where sleeping in thacth houses and are now empowered financially to start building zinc houses. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement. Every thing is going on well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to buy two bundles of white color 14gage zinc to start building my house. I to build three bedrooms decent house with concrete cement. I am currently living in an old small house that is build with thacth . Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially .I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my suffering will soon be over.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my way to my farm, when I over heard from my community brothers that givedirectly has sent them money. I quickly ran to the network area to check if I have received mine. Luckily for me I saw a huge amount of money in my account. It felt like a dream as I have never experienced anything like that. All my life, I never saw such amount of money given to someone without a repayment commitment or a task to perform. Because of this, I was very excited as tears of joy rolled down my eyes.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
This is my first payment; however, it has made a big difference in my life. I have always struggled to paid my children school fees at this point of the year, but since I received my first money, I have paid my children school fees and they are happily in school. They are not being sent home in tears as it has been over the past years.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought one bundle of zinc and thereafter spent the rest on pressing needs such as foodstuff and my children school fees.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" My family depends on farming. We do not have any other means of support. When I receive the transfer from GiveDirectly, I want to pay my children school fees with potion of the money and establish a business where i could raise funds to care for my family. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
" My friend promised to pay my children school fees but in the end he did not fulfilled his promises, Up till now, I have not fully pay their school fees. In the last six months I have not have any happy moment."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The biggest hardship I face is lack of finance. Due to lack of finance, I'm unable to pay my children school fees and provide for my family. "
