How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My in life is different than it would have been because I am happy to be sleeping in an iron sheet roofed house, and I have a peace of mind unlike before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to uplift people from extreme poverty, and has made people happy and proud in the village; I don't think there's anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to complete building my iron sheet roofed house, and saved some for food and school fees.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my standard of living has totally improved hence a more quality life.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money, I was too excited because it was my first time in history to receive such a huge amount.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have bought bricks, timber and iron sheets for constructing my permanent house all at Ugx 1010000. I also paid my children's school fees amounting to Ugx 250000, bought households and food with the remainder of the transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money is a means of helping me to get money to build a permanent house for my family . because the grassthacth house I have, keeps on disturbing me to change grass each and every year .
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is always lunch hour because after my meal, I feel relieved from hunger.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which I face is poverty because Iam helpless no assistance from my spouse completely even if he gets his money , he uses for buying Alcohol.
