How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I have always wanted to have a decent home for my children and I but i could not afford.
With the help of givedirectly i have renovate my house by removing the thatch and replaced it with zinc which am most grateful to givedirectly for this cash transfer for, because it have been really leaking on my children and I the passed years.

RE: Givedirectly have been doing extremely well since they enter my community so far.

RE: I spend the most of my transfer on transforming my house which have been leaking for years from thatch to zinc.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
For now i don't having new goals before receiving this transfer ; i am constant with my plan; improving my old house and zincing it is my first agenda.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Giving free cash transfer to people without paying back is what Give Directly do well and there is nothing about GD that i know is bad ; all is good to me.

I was able to purchase zinc and others house materials for the completion of my house roofing design and getting enough food for my children.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I feel over joy that morning when my husband told me GD had sent my transfer; I thought he was making stories about the money but when I checked it myself I knew it's true . For that day we stop every farm activities.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Getting huge amount of money from an institution like this had never happen in my entire life before ; now withstanding I can sent my children to school ; improve my house and managed what I having. Before I and my children was doing contract for people to sustain ourselves.

With this money, i will be able to purchase zinc, Gas, plank and established new business for I and my family's. Life has not been easy for me and my family's but with the help of GD and there field staffs we are some body today.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan for this cash transfer, is to build a good shelter for my family and I. The house we stayed in is made of thatches which is old and it leaks alot but due to my husband's and i poor living conditions, we are unable to build a new home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6 months it was on New Year Day that brought happiness to me. With all of the hardship I am faced with, I still have life and I know he will blessed me with money this new year to start a new life that will take me out of hardship.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband used to be the bread winner for the family but he went to a near by village to do mineral business, which he got involved in to another relationship that has driven his attention from me. For now, things are difficult to the extent I have to beg other relatives for food due to the financial problem faced with now.
