How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have been able to establish a permanent stall to run my business of selling seeds. Now, I am making enough profits without a strain since my customers are able to get me in one location unlike before when I would hawk in different markets which were strenuous and I didn't have ample time to interact with my family members. Therefore, I feel the most self-empowered person because my life is now better than before.

In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well by fulfiling its promises without involving intermediaries and this has enabled us get a lump-sum amount of money which has brought a positive change to the economic developments in my community. In addition, GiveDirectly gave me a mobile phone which I did not have before. This has made communication between me and other relatives very possible
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent a larger portion of my second transfer on renovating my house and now I have no worries that my house would collapse on me when it rains because previously the house I was staying in was weak and with the presence of big cracks on the walls. The remaining transfer I bought bedding and water container to store water.
