Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy because I knew my life has changed. I was greatful and filled with joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have a good place to sleep at night and my home nolonger runs out of food. We safe even in these of hungry. This is a big change for me and I am very happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought 20 iron sheets for my house that i plan on building. I have a house but it is a small one so with the money I am receiving from GD I will build a bigger house and this is 1 step towards the house. I went on and bought a mattress so that I nolonger have to sleep on an empty sack. I bought 2 bags of maize to add to my storage so that I do not run out of food while waiting for my harvest. I also hired help with my garden as I am expecting a child and can not farm for long . The remaining money I bought some baby things that I will need when my baby comes such as a wash basin and napkins.
